Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Artists in the Making Project

I AM NO LONGER WORKING ON THIS PROJECT.
I did not have the time to dedicate to this anymore; so, I took advantage of the free shipping and ordered as many shirts as I could with the points I had earned. Thank you to everyone that donated!

I have recently been inspired by

to start a donation pool to raise points to purchase items on Deviant Art to donate to those less fortunate.

As some of you may know, I have recently traveled to South Africa as part of a volunteer trip. This trip changed my life in so many ways. I have come back to Canada more inspired, and with an even greater urge to help make a difference.

My goal is to raise 20 000 points to purchase 50 "Artist In The Making" children's shirts to donate to children who are in need in South Africa. I will be donating the shirts to Volunteer Eco Students Abroad as this is the organization that I went to South Africa with and I feel that I can trust them with my (and your!) donations. They will be distributing the shirts to children in St Lucia, South Africa and surrounding areas. I am hoping to have this project completed before the end of the sale on the shirts. If the shirts become unavailable on DeviantArt, I will still use the points to purchase clothing for the under privileged, but will offer anyone who donated their points back if they do not with to donate to the new cause.

I am very passionate about this and appreciate any donations that are given. I can guarantee that your donations will not go to waste. I also promise not to use any of the donations for any purpose other than this cause and will be using any points I earn from contests, etc, for this.

I left a piece of my heart in St Lucia and can't wait to help make an even bigger impact on the lives of their people with your help. Remember, every point counts!

Also, anyone who donates will receive a llama badge and anyone who donated 50 point or more will be featured on my donation pool.
In addition to that, at the end of each week I will be making a journal featuring my favorite piece of art from each deviant that donates during that week.
